Real-Time Weather Data Logger
An automated IoT weather monitoring system using GSM, GPRS, and GPS technologies to collect multiple environmental parameters, geo-tag data, and transmit to cloud for real-time visualization and analytics.
- Real-time monitoring of multiple weather parameters
- GSM/GPRS-based data transmission
- GPS-based location tagging
- MQTT protocol for reliable IoT communication
- Cloud dashboard for data visualization and analytics
- Suitable for remote and unattended locations
Manual weather data collection and isolated weather stations do not provide real-time visibility or centralized access. Lack of timely data affects planning, agriculture decisions, and environmental analysis.
Oxymora developed a Real-Time Weather Data Logger using GSM, GPRS, and GPS technologies. The system collects data from multiple analog sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure), geo-tags the data using GPS, and transmits it to an IoT-enabled cloud using the MQTT protocol.
- Temperature, humidity, pressure, and environmental sensors
- Embedded microcontroller
- GSM/GPRS module
- GPS module
- Power management circuitry
- Embedded C/C++
- MQTT
- GSM+GPRS communication stack
- IoT cloud platform
Enabled continuous and remote weather monitoring. Improved data accuracy and availability. Supported data-driven decisions in agriculture and planning. Delivered a scalable IoT-based environmental monitoring solution.
